I have been anxiously waiting for the new Wii U but I recently saw the new controller in action (in a video) and I'm not so excited now. Due to an old thumb/nerve injury, I doubt that I'd be able to use the new controller. However, the Wii U is reported to be 'backward compatible' meaning it will still use the old controlers/nunchucks and games.
Still no word when it will be released but probably before Christmas 2012. The price will probably cost between $300 - $400, which is too much for me to pay for a gaming system so I'll stick with the old one. Amazon.com has some new U games you can pre-order, but they are priced at $100 which is way out of my price range.
